This is a fancy old hotel right in downtown. The building itself kind of transports you into another era. However, the rooms are quite basic and small (but clean and totally fine).

Absolutely loved the hotel, the staff was very attentive and friendly, organised very well everything we asked for and at short notice as well. The room was very nice and spacious with lots of storage and fridge.
The breakfast was very tasty, fresh and amazing selection. The location was perfect, walking distance to Egyptian museum, the market etc, lots of shops and restaurants just on the doorstep. We had a great stay and would love to come back again.
Big thanks to all the staff to make our stay so special.

The place was charming from the moment I walked in. Great staff! The restaurant had a diverse breakfast buffet and lots of fresh lunch options. The location was excellent. Lots to do but not noisy at night. Great value for all that they offer. I have traveled all over the world but this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!

Hotel stay was great. Great location. Our issue was from the tour we booked to Alexandria through the hotel. Ahmed spoke great English but he does not make a good guide for Americans. His misogyny was too loud. While the history he offered seemed sound and was interesting he spent too long talking about his own opinions.
