Always the best at Hotel Royale Taste!🇫🇷🤘

This isn’t the place if you’re looking for a canal view like on social media, but it’s in a great walkable location. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the bar downstairs is awesome!

First of all, you need to understand where the hotel is at. It is in the middle of a red light district. Museum of the prostitution literally is a next door. Taking all that into consideration, you can look at it at a different perspective like sleeping in an Eiffel Tower. The best thing out of this deal is the staff. I booked this hotel for the layover and I had nightclub and bar tour, basically I needed only couple of hours of sleep and a shower. My hair dryer was on different voltage so the staff ran all five flat of Netherlands version stairs, just to fetch me a hair dryer and woke me up personally knocking on the door because I only had an hour of sleep and I was afraid that I'm going to miss alarm. Thank you very much for all your services. It was impeccable!!!!!! I will definitely stay there again

Fantastic location in the red light District if that’s what you’re looking for If not, look elsewhere A very busy area, but centrally located to many different attractions We booked the quad room And it was fine for us Book this if you want an authentic experience If you’re looking for something bougie Look elsewhere One last thing about the staff, they couldn’t have been more polite !!

We had the superior room, with the view of the canal. It was roomy, and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was great to walk to various parts of the city. We especially enjoyed the Van Gogh museum.

It is more like a hostel. Did not like the bathroom arrangement

Amazing staff, great location- perfect to explore Amsterdam.

First things first, the staff I encountered was very nice. The room however leaves little to be desired. I did book a “basic” room because I wanted the separate beds but I still expected that it be clean. I messaged the hotel, and spoke to the guy at the “front desk” (the bar) who said his manager mentioned my concerns and so he took more information- there was absolutely no follow up though. I gave it 24 hrs after checkout to see if the hotel would reach out - they didn’t, so… The walls are dirty, there was a hole in the floor covered by a bottle cap inside and then a stool resting on the cap. When disturbing the stool, the little spiders inside scurry. There’s mold around the mini fridge, and in the bathroom. The hallways are not well lit, the windows in our room did not close all the way, and you have to leave the room key at the bar whenever you leave. I can only speak for the room I booked, but the photos used in the listing do not reflect it’s current condition.

The location is central. The hotel was very old. Basic amenities were missing. No cups provided in the room. T

The room was okay but the shower curtain was moldy. Fortunately the shower was large enough that I didn’t need to use it. The sink is teeny tiny and the window is high and small with no A/C.
