We had a fantastic stay at Solest Takachiho Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. One of the biggest highlights was the location! It made it incredibly easy to reach Takachiho Gorge early in the morning for our rowboat reservation, which ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip. The hotel is also conveniently close to the evening Kagura performance and several dining options, making it the perfect base for exploring Takachiho.
Our room exceeded expectations. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and having an outdoor patio was a wonderful bonus that made the stay feel even more relaxing.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the free on-site self parking, which made getting around by car very convenient.
The only minor downside was that the hotel restaurant was fully booked for dinner during our stay, so we didn’t get a chance to try it. That said, everything else about the experience was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at this great hotel. The room is really comfortable, the location is very convenient, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area.

The room was a little small but sufficient for a solo. The location was excellent as it was right in town, near many restaurants & bus station.

Very modern hotel with plenty of parking available. It is very close to a lot of shops and some attractions in the area which was convenient.
The room itself was nice it was advertised as a non smoking room but it did have a smell of cigarettes when we arrived, staff did offer to swap rooms but we were not there for long so we just used a spray to mask the smell.
