- In commemoration of the museum’s third anniversary, a number of masterpieces representing the Fukuda Art Museum and its treasured collection of modern paintings, many of which have never been shown to the public before, will be exhibited. 20220803-143158
- Many of the masterpieces by Kayama Matazō, Takayama Tatsuo, Sugiyama Yasushi, and Akino Fuku, who broke new ground in the genre of Japanese-style painting after the war, will be exhibited for the first time. In particular, the scale and solemn atmosphere of Sugiyama Yasushi’s large work, “Compassion Light,” which is on view for the first time in 35 years, will overwhelm visitors. 20220803-143214
