I was given a room that had windows that could not be opened. The fire alarm went off twice during my 11 days stay and in the very early hours of the morning. The room had a musty smell. All of this when the room costs were nearly £140 per night. Had the staff not been quite friendly and supportive, it would not have been a manageable stay. I would not stay here again. The good parts however are the gym facilities, the rooftop pool and the restaurant with good food.

Just don't go. Rooms does not look like advertised when challenged them I've heard it's upon availability. It's about 20 min walk to the harbour and over 1hr to valetta. Definitely not soundproof someone had a party at the restaurant and you could hear it all on the 2nd floor.you can find something in sliema for simmilar price which I would recommend as the place is too far from others . If you want your rooms cleaned you might need to pay extra (see the photo). Only one guy at reception was really helpful , if you unlucky with getting room downstairs that will ruin your whole stay .

I won't recommend this aparthotel. I have chosen this place for the view from the penthouse towards the sea but I didn't get that room. So in case you are planning to book this apartment for the view get ready to more likely get the city view not the sea. Secondly, this is too far from Valetta, so you will either need to take taxi, or ferry to get quicker to Valetta or walk for 50 minutes every time. We have been told that the room gets cleaned every 3 days, on the 3rd day nobody came to take the dirty towels and give us new ones. Their attention to details is minimal. Plus one of the staff members, an old blonde woman got too friendly with us, trying to make a sarcastic joke when we asked for towels, emphasising the fact that they are more an apartment not a hotel therefore they have different rules. So professionalism is minimal again. Another thing, if you are planning to have the penthouse which is the most expensive one, get ready to be woke up at 7:00am on your holiday because they are moving the sun beds around. Again, attention to detail is ZERO, they are not careful with these things as you go there for a few days and in case you don’t come back it won't make any difference in their pocket. Do not book this place, trust me, choose a place inside of Valletta or a proper hotel not something hybrid.

** warning - construction directly outside ** One bedroom apartment, quite basic. Only 1 bedside table in the bedroom which was annoying. No spare sheets given for the sofa bed, had to call front desk to set it up for us, they had missed it prior to check in (note you can't easily turn it back I to a sofa so be aware) The walls/ doors are VERY thin - we could hear normal conversation from another room in our room with the doors shut! Pool not heated so very cold, we didn't use it but the outdoor seating area was nice. Big issue is there is A LOT of construction directly next to the hotel, with diggers from 0700 exactly every day until mid afternoon. Luckily we have a kid so up early, but would be hideous for people who can sleep in! Breakfast was basic but fine. Staff were LOVELY, very helpful and welcoming Tip - use the dryers on -1 floor (cost €2 coin) and can dry your towels as there is nowhere to dry them in the room

Had a nice room. Difficult to control temperature. Our shower leaked and our request for additional towels was questioned ( not there long enough?). Far from city center. But when I left items behind they fully cooperated with the courier and got my items mailed to me. Food was good, facilities were clean and inexpensive

Quiet and safe area. Room is clean and adequate but didn't have breakfast. Due to road constructions in the area,it was difficult to locate on arrival. I later discovered 2mins walk to Bus stops on the opposite direction where several Buses runs to Valletta, St Paul's Bay, and various part of Malta. With a week explorer Bus Pass from the Airport. Best choice

We had a very pleasant stay at the Adagio. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful; our room was nice, clean, well-appointed, and offered a nice view over the city; the location was good, outside the busy touristy part of town, yet within easy walking distance to everything. The only thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi which is a bit iffy at times.

Pretty cool property, could walk to the waterfront.
