Absolutely terrible customer service. The standard copy and paste reply. Definitely the worst I have experienced in my life time. Choose to be greedy when they could have shown empty and sympathy. Avoid.

The free flow of welcome drinks including soft drinks, coffee and tea was great, especially during hot summer. The room was value for money but parking is not free, it's at a fee of JPY 1000 per day. The multi-storey parking was linked to the hotel at level 3 of the parking facility but need to climb some stairs and manage through 2 doors to enter into hotel lobby. Easy access to shopping malls nearby, and the bakery across the road was fantastic, delish bread to buy from the bakery.

Clean, new and spacious room. Free drinks /coffee/ tea from 3pm to 10pm . Plenty of food around the area. JR station and aeon just across the road. Definitely recommend 👍

SNOOTY staff involving procedures and attitude - did not seem helpful and weren't cheerful, especially on the female side. The guys were courteous and friendly.

Clean and well appointed room for 3pax. One of the Jap reception staff are not friendly and seemed unwilling to help. Breakfast are the same everyday. For us who stayed 5 nights, would be good it they can change every other day. Location is great. Plenty of food choices around. But make sure to make reservation for the popular restaurant and also be aware that some establishments are foreigner unfriendly.

Had a great stay at Amanek Asahikawa! The staff were lovely and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage at the hotel before check in so we could explore the city. We had the breakfast buffet included which was definitely busy but had a good variety of food and lots of seating. Loved the public baths and staff allowed us to use the facilities even though we have tattoos - definitely a plus! The hotel is directly opposite the main train/bus station and a massive mall, with lots of food and shopping options close by. Thank you to the lovely staff at Hotel Amanek :)
