Although just a one night stay, I had a good rest in the spacious and clean room. The room also had a water dispenser so one need not go to 7/11 (just opposite) to get water. The bed was comfy and room was spacious. Toilet had a bidet and shower was good with good pressure and water temperature control. Wifi was strong and stable too. I wished there was en extra pillow and I think it would not be an issue if you asked for one. There are only local tv channels available but with the strong wifi, there were no issues streaming content. Note that if you book through Expedia, you do not need to pay for the tourism tax. It’s stated in your booking confirmation email. Show that to the staff an they will take a picture of it. It’s normal for all Malaysian hotels to ask for the tourism tax, so always read through your confirmation email. Will definitely come back here for a stay when I’m back in KL.

Like: good breakfast, quiet, convenient with the affordable price Dislike: it has a strong stinky smell like pesticides in the room and saw a tiny mite like moving bug in the bathroom. There is more room in hospitality training of staff in the registrations and dining areas.

Pool and gym were shut and the restaurant ran out of burgers.

Stayed 5days and only one day cleaning service. They came to the room after 4 or 5pm so too late for me.

Great hotel and Lo

Great location to walk to scenic Petronas towers which lights up at night. Beautiful. Plus a great mall with restaurants is there along with light rail access to other sites like Central Market. Also 1919 restaurant is close by which had delicious food..

Clean room, great amenities. Comfortable bed. In a prime location. Not too pricey. Had a nice stay. Would stay again. Girl at front desk wasn't the most hospitable upon check in which started things off rocky, but the doormen and luggage handlers are fantastic.

We have stayed at Ibis Hotels around the world both in Europe in Asia and South America. This is a very nice property quite large 31 stories tall. The hotel staff were OK. There's a breakfast every morning on the 10th floor. A very large dining hall with a variety of foods. The emphasis seems to be on more Malaysian/Indian style foods. Lots of curry items. We do like their croissants. But the ones here are a little bit more cake like than other locations we've had in the past. The hotel cleaning staff is very shorthanded and we came back a couple of times in the afternoon and the room had not been cleaned yet. So in which we just asked for towels and went another day without a room service. Our room attendant is a very hard-working guy and we don't fault him for his efforts. One thing that we found very unusual is that the TV had primarily local channels. There was no international news, very few English speaking channels and unlike other hotels we had no access to go to YouTube. The Internet service was OK. The room was large and the bathroom was spacious. I think the pricing was spot on. We booked this reservation through Expedia. We had previously booked another hotel and it was not in a desirable area and looked sketchy. And so we came to this Ibis KLCC property. There's some restaurants across the street in in the area. But most days we took a grab taxi to the mall which had more choices overall, we would likely stay here again if we came back to KL.
