Midtown Hotel - Downtown New Orleans

Everything was amazing! The pool was fantastic and the staff was very helpful friendly! The manager was very professional, delightful, friendly, just a vibe! We definitely recommend again!

It was ok staff was cool.

Room was clean enough, but the sink wasn’t draining well. Furniture was new but overall room was old. Air conditioning was provided by unit that vented to outdoor hallway. The exhaust tube was poorly connected to the unit and came undone while we were out at dinner. So it was venting INTO the room, causing the interior temperature to rise up to 88 degrees. It took 5 hours to drop it down to 75 after we discovered the issue at midnight. The room was also right next to the stairs leading to a lower level on the floor, so we constantly heard new guests dropping their luggage down each step rather than carrying their stuff. Very uncomfortable stay overall.

Very quite

The hotel was nice. Overall my covers did have a few stains on them and the lock to my room didn’t lock.

Nobody was at the desk and we had to wait about 15 minutes. The room AC and lights didn’t work. It took about 30 minutes to get changed to another room. The lights we very dim and the keycard reader didn’t work. We had to wait until the next morning for the key. The experience wasn’t horrible, but it should have been better.

Overall terrible experience of I can write no stars I would.

I will never be staying at this hotel ever again! The guy who attended us I didn’t get his name, but he took it upon himself to move our reservation to a different room. A room that did not have AC and gave us a small fan for the night as if that would be enough. Then I stated that there was no control remote for the TV. He struck his shoulders didn’t seem to care and said it must’ve gotten lost. This hotel you can obviously tell they spend their money just in the lobby. They do not care for the rooms. They don’t not care for the customers inside in the pool. Everything feels and looks like it’s about to fall off.

The staff was superb!

What was advertised to me, was not what I saw. The room didn't have any windows, there were previous water damage indications. After checking in, I went right back down stairs and asked them if they had another room with windows, and they told me no. If i were them, I wouldn't advertise this place.
