I stayed at the Blake Hotel and spent approximately $90 dining at the hotel restaurant during my stay. Unfortunately, I saw a rat run through the dining area while waiting for my food. I also ordered a well-done burger that arrived pink in the middle, and the fries were not fresh. I reported my concerns before checking out and was disappointed by the lack of concern or follow-up from the staff. I wanted future guests to be aware of my experience.

Upon careful review, it is apparent that the overall visual appeal and guest experience of the space could be significantly enhanced through targeted aesthetic improvements. A specific and immediately noticeable area of concern is the peeling paint observed on the bathroom door, which unfortunately conveys an impression of neglect and detracts considerably from the room's intended comfort and perceived quality. Addressing this detail promptly would undoubtedly elevate the general ambiance and reinforce a sense of meticulous maintenance. Furthermore, the integration of a dedicated microwave stand would prove to be a valuable and impactful upgrade. Such an addition would not only optimize the functional layout of the room by providing a more organized and appropriate placement for the appliance, but it would also contribute to a more refined and cohesive aesthetic, reducing visual clutter and maximizing the efficiency and convenience of the space for occupants. The staff were amazing!

The room was comfortable and spacious. An incredible location with parking on the same block. A quiet stay. Excellent city view. The price phenomenal. We will visit again. Staff friendly.

Great place to stay after or before a cruise. Our room was ready the morning we debarked the ship. Great to have a bed to rest before exploring after a week of cruising.

Got a room with no windows. Bad smell of mold coming from the ac whenever it would turn on. Sheets were stained, dirty room. Did i mention there was no windows?! Would not recommend.

Our stay was okay. I expect the bare minimum to be met. Cleaning rooms daily and fresh towels but at this property it seems you have to ask for this service. Also when you ask for housecleaning you may have to let front desk know or else it may not get done. Pro Tips: Park in the garage behind the hotel for $40 overnight parking which is cheaper than valet parking. Also this property is good for dogs since there is a big park across the street for walking and a Starbucks across the street for pup cups. The conveniences of this property is a plus since the St Charles Street Car runs in front of the hotel.
