I use this as a base regularly for my hiking weekends and its just perfect. The rooms are beautifully presented, the food is great and I love the little residents only area.

Ideal location for walking. Pretty pub with great food and helpful staff. Large carpark and we were allowed to park early before checking in. Great beer garden with lovely views. Perfect stay, thank you!

The hotel was in a great location within walking distance to Grasmere centre.
Hotel was clean and the staff welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area.
We enjoyed breakfast and evening meal at the hotel
