The Auberge Hotel is a very nice hotel with comfortable beds, fantastic views of the mountains, the bay and on a clear day you can see all the way to central city. I however found the front desk unhelpful and unprepared at times. From check in, room change to checkout. I am familiar with Discovery Bay but at points had questions about transportation and it was met with subpar information. I had questions about dining and there was no clear answer on I my simple question on breakfast times. The first room I checked into was extremely damp and required a dehumidifier. Perhaps the hotel would be better served to be taken over by one of the bigger hotel chains.

The stay is what you would expect for a 4 star hotel. Clean, spacious, and in a convenient location.

Would not hesitate to book again. Passing through on our way to Australia, needed somewhere to stay for a night. Couldn’t believe how good this was for how little we paid to stay. Excellent location, good access to local (reasonably priced) taxis, good access to Disney, clean, well sized and comfortable rooms, great facilities. Superb

Nice hotel and room. Disappointing that the pool, which is such a strong feature of this hotel was closed. Reception staff were quite aloof and not very welcoming. Not a big deal but just saying it as we found, great location for public transport, bus stop right outside.

The front desk, staff, or is absolutely amazing young gentlemen upgraded my room to a corner suite. The room was huge the king size bed in the middle lots of closet spaceb safe in the room, windows all the way around the room nice couch with ottoman and table and desk and refrigerator. The only thing missing that would've been a nice feature. Was the microwave oven to reheat any leftover from the restaurants they have a laundry service that was real affordable. I did not use the dry cleaning service. It's a grocery store nearby and 4 to 6 restaurants one of the best meals I had when I was in Hong Kong was the Mexican restaurant that's little shopping center next to the hotel was awesome. Food was great. I did not use any hotel shuttle buses. I pretty much used Uber every day taking me to the train station/MTR the view is just amazing too. I would definitely stay here again. I give them a 9 1/2 out of 10.

Great room, excellent food, super helpful and friendly staff and perfect location. I look forward to returning.
