Poor rooms with. Fungi on shower. Stains on the walls and sink table. No bell boy. No room service after 9. Any thing u ask for they don’t have. No water for free. Breakfast is very limited in variety. Food its self not tasty. Photos on site misleading. Bed is extremely uncomfortable. Staff mist of them rude except for restaurant staff are helpful. Had to ask for everything not provided in the bathroom and get it ur self from reception. Overall i paid for four star hotel and its bearly 2 stars hotel

We paid a pretty penny for basic amenities and mediocre food. We were told that the basic spa facilities are paid without it being clearly stated on the booking page, quite disappointing as the room rates were not cheap. There were ants in the Delux room so we couldn’t bring anything in without having an infestation in 5mins max. And to top it off, their €15 p/p breakfast is served on the top flor of the hotel, there’s barely any space and the food is cold and dry. Very disappointing and I would avoid if I were you.

Great stay in a fun hotel. Great staff. Loved the restaurant/bar on the roof. Very nice room.

Perfect base for exploring Palermo. Clean, modern hotel in the centre. Just breakfast was very basic, could have done with some fruit, veg and savoury options

The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, more so than most! We had a member of our group with a disability and they were very accomodating of her in terms of room placement, bed separation etc. They also arranged a taxi for us to the train station on our final day and provided recommendations for where to eat nearby. Plus, a check out time of 12pm is a real luxury! The rooftop food and bar upstairs were fantastic quality too, we had top quality sushi and cocktails there. And we really enjoyed our breakfast up there each morning. I would highly recommend Hotel Plaza Opera given all of the above - plus it is in a very central and convenient area!
