Spent 3 nights at this Property, here are some of the issues. NO hot water during the entire stay. Had to take a cold shower. Shower head holder was broken. Reported, not fixed. Curtains would not completely cover the windows, so always light entering the room. Rooms tied and in need of refurbishment.

Location excellent don’t let that mislead you to stay in this Hotel it’s a dirty run-down hotel with worse food and staff. property is beyond dirty. This use to be a very nice hotel and known for Sri Lankan food and even that they are the worse now. We stayed in 7 Hotels in Sri Lanka on this trip this is the only bad place we experience avoid this hotel by all means.

Nice to be out of Colombo. Staff are lovely. The rooms needed a big deep clean. Bathrooms had lots of mould and dirt. Under the beds had leftover over food. No hot water the entire 4 nights. Requested a baby cot twice and it never arrived. Informed that laundry service was not available in the low season. TV wouldn’t turn on. Food was left rotting in the hallway for days. Pool area was great. The restaurant and pool staff fantastic.

This is far from a 4* hotel. The property is VERY run down and so many things are broken. It needs urgent repairs but nobody seems to be bothered. Staff at check in were not bothered at all, take it or leave it attitude. The doorman/porter was the only nice person. Check-in was at 2pm I arrived at 5pm waited for a hour and my room was still not ready. After 2 hours still nothing but nobody was bothered, so I went elsewhere. Overall worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in
