Nomads Hotel - Near San Clemente Pier

Great location. Extra bunk beds were nice. A bit noisy though.

I contacted the property to let them know the reservation was not placed/ I didnt make it. Crickets. Come to find out, there is no reception/lobby/ anyone on the property and is non refundable. Expedia forwarded and email and havent heard since. Expedia is also 0/10. No help at all!

Have stayed a Nomads a few times. Never disappointed with the service and the food at their restaurant. Look forward to our next visit.

The rooms are fun. It has become a drop in spot for us when we want to walk on the beach.The Bar can be loud at night but the complimentary wine, makes up for that we join in. We stay up late play games,cards watch movies.The room is always clean and has everything we need .Walkable location to whatever you need.Check it out!

I needed a room for one person while visiting Orange County for a basketball tournament and I really wanted to be within walking distance of the beach but was on a tight budget and I was delighted to discover the Boat Room at Nomads. The price was unbeatable for a May weekend and I loved my tiny little room. It had absolutely everything I needed and the ownership was so helpful via text with getting checked in and then adding the information about my rental car right before we got to the hotel. I was able to snag the overnight parking in front of the Cantina both nights without much issue and both the lunch and dinner I had there were delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of absolutely everything you could possibly want and the digital check-in was super smooth. As per other reviews, the Cantina is hopping from open to close and they do start prepping in the morning but even though my room was literally under the stairs up to the Cantina I got plenty of sleep using the sound machine that was in the room and earplugs (with which I usually sleep anyway). The Apple TV was great; I was able to access multiple different streaming apps easily. I am absolutely planning on staying here again the next time we are in the OC and I really appreciate the variety of rooms to accommodate any size party.

The location is the best there is! Having the option to go up the stairs to eat and drink as well is great after a long day of travel. You’re so close to the downtown area and walking is easy in this area. The room was incredibly spacious and had every amenity imaginable. All in all a great stay!

i’m not one to write reviews but our experience was so awful at this ‘hotel,’ that i feel compelled. to call this place a hotel is dubious. there was no one to help, billing themselves as fully automated, convenient for them not so much for the customer. there was loud noise late into the night being under a bar, the bed was very uncomfortable and had only a sheet, no extra blankets to be found anywhere. the shades didn’t keep the light or the noise from the street out. we knew we were in trouble when we saw the earplugs on the bedside table. we abandoned our next two paid nights because we didn’t sleep a wink. we were endlessly looped back to the bot olivia when we did try to get someone to talk to us. needless to say, they refused to return our money.
