Initial room was very small so we upgraded to a larger room with was very sufficient. In town for the Gothia Cup soccer tournament, so location offered easy access to public transit. Breakfast was very good. Staff excellent. I would stay again. Very pleased overall.

One critique is the pool and Jacuzzi are only available if you pay daily spa fee of approx $49 USD or 500 swedish krone. Elevators are great , staff super helpful and kind. Hotel is centrally located to everything . Second time staying here

Hotel lovely, breakfast very nice. All good except for small rooms. No wardrobe in room only coat hangers on hooks on wall and no set of drawers. We only stayed 4 nights which was fine but anymore you could do with wardrobe/drawers.

Great breakfast! Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Some good local amenities and very easy to walk to the centre.

Sife of the bed was all stained, not a very comfy nights sleep, in fact every morning I woke up in pain which is not usual for me. The maid tried to enter the room well before the time alloted to be out of the room.

We had a great stay at this modern, upscale hotel. Our room was large and nicely decorated and had large windows overlooking Gothenburg from the 21st floor. The rate included spa access and daily breakfast. The spa is very good, and we took advantage of the sauna, pool and other amenities. Location is across the street from Liseberg, a large amusement park, but a bit further away from the other major tourist attractions. However, Gothenburg is not a huge city, and we were able to walk and scooter everywhere in under 40 mins. We really enjoyed our stay at the Upper House and would highly recommend it to others looking for an upscale stay.
