The staff was very understanding when I made a mistake in the reservation. And the room was excellent -- a wide desk of the type I like to use for work, enough light, and a very comfortable bed. I've no complaints.

We stayed during a very popular time in Hirosaki, with the cherry blossom festival in full swing. The hotel is a little too far from the station to walk with lots of luggage so we recommend going by taxi. At first they couldn't find our reservations, but everything was sorted. Comfortable hotel.

Decent budget hotel. Stayed 2 nights, the bed was hard. Parking is available right next to the hotel. Overall a good budget hotel. Great area around the hotel, lovely city to walk around! A lot of great sights (castle, parks, museums) onsen and cute cafes with amazing apple pies!

Good: Front desk staff tried to help with any issues; buffet breakfast on 13th floor with large windows on all sides overlooking city; walkable (20 mins) to Castle Bad: Hotel uses actual keys with heavy wooden keychain (photo); dirty carpet in room and in hallways and elevators (photo); very uncomfortable bed and pillows; shabby walls, furniture and decor, and walls and furniture had many scuffs and scrapes (photo); flashlight in room for emergencies had very weak light (photo) so went to front desk and they replaced.
