Clear room nice view friendly staffs

To say I was disappointed to pay top price for 3 nights accomodation only to have my family and I kept awake all Saturday and part Sunday night by a DJ who I’m assuming was associated with the hotel in a venue below. We were on level 9 and the music was ridiculously loud, I don’t recommend families stay or do proper research before booking on a weekend. Also, we booked as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) with “breakfast included” only to be told that it covered 1 adult and had to pay an additional $40 for my husband to eat. When checking out, I wasn’t surprised that no-one at reception asked me how was our stay.

Great location close to beach and main harbour. Lots of variety with restaurants and bars on site. Cafes also close by. Staff were very helpful and service was excellent. Swimming pool and sauna were great. Parking was an additional $39 per day.

We stayed here as a family of four for 2 nights. The location is absolutely fantastic—right across the road from the beach! The rooms were surprisingly spacious and very clean, which we appreciated. However, the hotel itself is quite old and run down. For instance, the rooms are still using old TV screens rather than smart TVs (E.g no Netflix or Disney+ etc) and remote buttons were old and hard to press. They have also transitioned to an eco-friendly model to reduce single-use items, which is great in theory, but everything else feels like an extra fee. We had to pay extra for Wi-Fi, and parking was quite expensive at $78 for the two nights (it feels like this should really be discounted for staying guests). Overall, it was a pleasant stay because of the space and location, but it definitely needs some modernizing to match the price tag.

Old, dirty and unkept rooms. The rooms are shockingly dated. Our door was actively splintering at the bottom, and everything came with a layer of dust. The TV can't connect to the internet, and in the year 2026, they actually have the audacity to charge guests for Wi-Fi! We were told the gym was closed at 8pm, but the welcome pack said the “Beachside Fitness” is open til 10pm. Disabling the keycard reader two hours before closing and making guests beg for entry is peak lazy management. Don't bother packing your swimmers unless you enjoy bathing in a biohazard. The pool is unheated and the bottom was completely covered in bird feces. Please avoid, especially if you have small children wanting to swim. The gym is somehow worse. It's basically a sweltering sauna equipped with a violently shaking, broken pedestal fan that only blows air out the sides. The equipment is a lawsuit waiting to happen, featuring an old barbell with no locks for the weights! The absolute peak of our stay was calling in room dinning to ask if they could warm some milk for my 2 year old. We were explicitly told it would "take too long" because they had a massive queue for a wedding. It takes exactly sixty seconds to microwave milk. It is great to know that once the hotel gets their big wedding payout, actual paying guests and their children become a complete inconvenience. If you're not part of a wedding party, don't expect basic hygiene, safe amenities, or a single minute of staff effort. Avoid!

Prior advice regarding hight limitations in parking and alternatives would have made stay better

On arrival we found out there was no foxtel and for the price we paid there should have been and 40 dollars a day for parking we thought was expensive, all staff were very friendly and helpful
