Property was fine for one night and very close to Hobbiton which was great as that was the purpose of our visit. The hotel and management was fine but..... permenant residents do live here as well and the permanent residents were not friendly and a bit rough around the edges and my neighbour (a resident there) swore and yelled alot. And residents do tend to hang out in the parking area. At times I did not feel comfortable staying there with my children. If it wasnt for that, this is a great little motel and very spacious its just a shame as i feel some of the residents bring it down.

The staff was friendly and allowed us V to check in a little early, which was great! The room was nice and very clean. Overall, it was a very nice motel.

Because it was so hot when we stayed we had to use the portable fan in the room - but because it was so dirty and dusty we had to clean it first!
It is also close to the railway line - beware of trains passing at three in the morning!
