Fantastic hotel, the sake bar and noodle service at night was great! Be sure to order breakfast the night before if you want breakfast. The rooms were roomy and beautiful!

fabulous stay - the venue was so friendly and we loved our personalised welcome and drink of tea on arrival. We also recommend the safe tasting paddle - would do that again. The rooms were superb - the spa bath was a perfect way to soak after all our walking, the entrance to the rooms were so cute and the decor inside was inspirational - want to design my house similar now.

This was an excellent hotel. A spacious room, well equipped with a Japanese style bath. The location was convenient, as well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is extremely beautiful, the staff are attentive and made our stay cozier. The amentities and facility are the best we have had in our trip in Japan.

I greatly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was respectful and courteous. The room was beautifully prepared, incredibly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower in the room was immaculate. I especially appreciated that in the hotel lobby they included free tea and in the evening would offer free soba for those who wanted a midnight snack. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Uan. It is a Japanese syle hotel, so refreshingly different from the typical western style. The Japanese style breakfast was amazing. It was very comfortable and the location was great for accessing the castle, gardens, and various historic districts. The staff were very friendly.
