Definitely deserves its 4-star rating. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast spread, and lovely (though very cold) pool. Grateful for the hospitality too! In terms of location, you will need to take Gojek (private hire vehicles) around anyway and it’s a good and central spot for pickups.

The room was spacious and clean when I arrived. However, after the first night, the cleaning staff did not clear out the dishes from the room service I ordered the previous night. The next day, they did not leave large towels in the bathroom, which I only noticed after getting out of the shower so I had to use hand towels. I ordered room service one night and the food was not good and cold. The location is quiet and within walking distance from some cafes and restaurants but a bit far from the main attractions. I also asked about tours to the famous temples and while the hotel could organize a driver, they could not help with organized tours other than offering to search online (which I ended up doing myself). The front desk staff was kind and tried their best to help.

The hotel is clean and good for the price you pay. It is convenient and not too far from Malioboro and Tugu. The staffs are friendly and helpful if you need information about places to eat or shop. I stayed briefly for 2 nights and did not dine at the hotel restaurant. Therefore, I dont have any comment regarding foods offered at the restaurant. Thank you.

what a beautiful hotel, the room, the amenities and resto had such good food + so clean. the views above were beautiful and also I went through a 6M earthquake here and staff handled everything so well during scary situation
