It's a busy hotel with many local dinners. Thus, more traffic and noise than a usual spring hotel. However, it's close to a bus stop and MRT station as well. So it's easy for someone who does not have a car.

The personal hot tub in the room was the best. Easy to climb in and out of for older couples. Location is next to Xinbeitou MRT so access to a supermarket, restaurants and the thermal spring all within walking distance. Breakfast was good. This was our second time staying here.

The room was comfortable and I loved having the private onsen in the room. Staff were quite strict about their 3pm check-in time. I understand that it takes time to clean rooms after guests check out at 11am, but I was just really tired after a red-eye flight and would have really appreciated even a slightly early check-in.

First room is full of smoking smell. The second room is next to the first: mouldy and constant water running noise from the room above. The ventilation is poor.
