I took my children here and we stayed for 6 days. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with beautiful views. Now with that said, it needs to be updated. Everything felt outdated from the TV to the beds. I was really disappointed when we saw our room, and had I not paid for everything upfront, I would have gone elsewhere. The resort fees were also a bit ridiculous. I felt like I got scammed as the price really doesn’t equal the experience. I will say it’s really close to the airport and attractions such as SeaWorld so that was nice. I will not go back the next time I go to San Diego.

Great location. Pools and beach access were awesome. Staff at hotel are all very friendly. Staff at Grill not so much. Glad I stayed/visited but would not go back. Hotel was not clean enough for my liking. Felt dirty and even after the rooms were cleaned it was still dirty (and stained).

The resort was nice and clean. We especially loved the pools. The resort fees of $100.00 per night were way to high in my opinion. and they should have been disclosed when I made the reservation not when I showed up at the resort.
