El hotel es bueno y cómodo. Tiene dormitorios cómodos y piscinas privadas de aguas termales muy satisfactorias. El desayuno es completo y la experiencia de vivir temporalmente en un ámbito netamente japonés resulta óptima.

Lovely hotel, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The whole place was very clean and tidy with plenty of amenities. The private Onsen was easy to book but at night there is a lot of bugs! I wish the breakfast had been warm as food such as the eggs and bacon were room temperature and not kept hot. Also the river view was obstructed by trees. Other than this I had a lovely stay.

Dated hotel but the room was beautiful and spotless. The staff were nice but we were SO disappointed at check out when we asked them to store our bags for a few hours and they said no, as it was maintenance day. Having spent over £400 on 2 night’s accommodation, I was really upset my this. It’s an enormous hotel with so much space to have stored our luggage. It really spoiled our last day in Japan

we had a traditional Japanese room, if you are over 5‘ 9” watch out as you will be banging your head into everything. The hotel is fine, nothing special.

This place is exceptional. I had a traditional Japanese room which was amazing. The Onsen experience is a must. And the gastronmic dinner Kaiseki was one of the best meal of my life that gave me a full experience on Japanese gastronomy.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly by the multilingual staff and the calming ambiance of relaxing music and natural views from the large library windows. The staff was helpful I holding our bags and calling a taxi for us to take us to our afternoon site seeing before our check in. Thoughtful amenities such as coffee, tea, and popcicles were offered in the lobby at no extra charge. The private onsen was a perfect option for us a couple so that we were able to enjoy the onsen together. The onsen itself was a fully covered outdoor wooden tub over looking the river and mountain side.
The room was ample and beautifully decorated in a comfortable mixture of Japanese traditional and western furniture. Our room had a seating area with a view of the river, and the Yukatas and house shoes were provided.
We opted for the Kaizeki dinner and breakfast, and both meals were excellent, offering a wonderful sample of local food. If you are a westerner with a less adventurous pallet, I would suggest skipping the dinner option and finding a restaurant in town. Breakfast had plenty of good options for most guests.
Overall, we had an excellent experience.

Excellent view of the river. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Our 9 course meal was amazing! Outside of building walls could use some cleaning.
