I had mixed feelings about stay. Some of the staff were absolutely wonderful and made the experience much better. Unfortunately, the food was one of the biggest disappointments and needs significant improvement. I was especially disappointed because I was visiting Mexico and expected to enjoy authentic, flavorful Mexican cuisine. Instead, many of the meals lacked flavor and did not reflect the quality or variety I was hoping for. For a resort in Mexico, the food should be a highlight of the experience, but it fell short. We were also looking forward to dining at the French restaurant, Blue Moon, but after waiting over an hour and a half for our food and spending nearly two hours there, we ended up leaving before our main course was served. Our server was very kind and attentive, so this was clearly not his fault. I would like to recognize Janet, who was exceptional. Her kindness and work ethic truly stood out. Rueben at Pez Dama provided excellent service, the staff at Mike’s Coffee were always friendly, and Oscar at the gym was fantastic. One aspect that bothered me was the pressure to attend presentations or purchase upgrades. At times, it felt as though guests who declined upgrades were treated differently. No guest should feel that their experience depends on spending more money after arrival. Overall, the staff were the highlight of the resort, but the food quality, restaurant experience, and guest treatment need attention and improvement.

Facility - Nice layout and architecture. Unfortunately, observed workmanship issues like: torn wallpaper on the elevator, bathroom fixtures not properly mounted (loose mounting on shower holder, faucet, toilet bowl cleaner, etc) Staff - Great staff. Esp: Alejandra and Julie at the Bowling area, Jesus (Pianist) and Abdiel (Bar, mixes drinks like an artist) Pool - Could use more floaters esp on the Lazy river pool

Property was in very good condition. Recently opened in December, the property still was in excellent condition. However, the amenities such as access to the pools was very disappointing. They closed at 6 pm (lazy river), 8 pm for main pools. Outdoor bars also closed very early, earlier than the pools. Also location of the resort was not ideal. Very windy and choppy water. No one was at the beach. Locals said this is typical for the location.

We just got back and we choose this property so to Adults only and this being a new property. Want we liked was the staff, the pools, nice beach but we didn’t go to it since the pools were amazing, rooms are very big and well furnished, the bars were fantastic and great bartenders, the buffet was amazing best place to eat (but they are closed at dinner very stupid !!), mikes coffee yum !, sweet shop yum!, privilege restaurant A+ (when open), butler service and cleaning staff great!, things to do until 2am which is not heard of much in resorts but this place had it all. What we didn’t like …. Closing restaurants so stupid ! Also we paid for privilege and they closed the restaurant we paid extra for two nights and 1 being Friday night !! Then others closed as well. Food at other restaurants not so good, well good but weird. like a Mexican restaurant but no salsa or any hot sauce but one that really should be called fire sauce. The Italian restaurant had no pepperoni, sausage, or meatballs for pizza only a ham and no sauce on it!! This place tried to be a foodie place versus a normal Italian restaurant for all ! Since we only have 7 to pick from and as I said most of them closed any different night. Buffet was awesome had everything and all very good tasting food. Why it didn’t have dinner we just didn’t get it. The Benihana place good but you get only what they serve and very little food. Then you have to eat and get out so to next wave of customers.

The property was fantastic and the staff were really nice. The rating boils down to the food or the lack there of. Very poor variety and restaurants were often closed or shut down. Besides the food, everything else about this property was fantastic.

I really wanted to enjoy my stay at Ocean Allure, but unfortunately I left disappointed because the resort did not honor the resort credit that was supposed to be included with my booking. One of the reasons I booked this stay was because the resort credit was listed as part of the package. However, when I tried to use it, it was not honored the way it was advertised. That was very frustrating and made the experience feel misleading. The property itself is nice, and there were parts of the trip we enjoyed, but customer service matters. When guests book based on advertised benefits, those benefits should be clearly explained and honored without making the guest feel like they have to argue for them. Because of this issue, I would be hesitant to return or recommend the resort unless they improve how they handle resort credits and communicate what is actually included.

Amazing resort, we wouldn’t change anything except that they need Coca-Cola, they only have Pepsi LOL. The lazy river was so much fun, but bring a floatie, or you have to pay $25-$35 USD at their store. They only have a few available to use and this is their off season. I had lobster often at La Cristina, big tails. Staff would bend over backwards to help and Oscar makes the best drinks! We were sad to leave. Massages are WAY overpriced but each morning a lady walks around offering 1/2 price deals, definitely wait for her or it’s over $300USD for 50 min massage and over $400 for couples massage. Would totally stay there again!

This place was absolutely gorgeous! Every single staff member was friendly and helpful and fun to talk to. We went for our honeymoon and my birthday and our butler was so eager to help my husband make my special day the best ever. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were great. Very clean and safe.

Beautiful resort with amazing staff! We enjoyed our stay so much and will be back!! It was extremely relaxing and fun!

Rooms are great, people are wonderful. Never had any problems. The staff…..all were wonderful!!! We’ll be back!
