This was a great little place to stay on Cat Ba. When we went it was just the start of the tourism season, and there were a lot of building works next door. The layout of the hotel is lovely but there are a LOT of stairs - ours ended up on the 4th floor with no lift available! The staff very kindly took our luggage up and down however but this is important to note! The breakfast is ok, nothing special, and doubtful they make it fresh when you order - I think they cook it that morning and leave it on the side before bringing it to you. Coffee is average. But the host Annie and her colleagues are very lovely and there is a wonderful Bia Hoi next door!
