Mandarin Mayfair is our new fave stay in London. It is centrally located in a wonderful area and everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. From the moment we arrived, all the personnel we came into contact with from the reception, concierge, porters, security, housekeeping, in room dining, restaurants... the service was just excellent. Mind you accommodation rates are pretty steep but you definitely get what you pay for.

The staff are really nice and friendly, but the service itself is inconsistent; sometimes the staff fail to respond to requests. The rooms are good size but not spacious with issues in the design, such as window not opening because it’s blocked by curtain rail, or if you open closet door it blocks bathroom entrance, pound sound from aircon, etc. Most rooms have a terrible view, with some you cannot even open the curtain, such as room on ground floor with window overlooking hotel restaurant! And others construction workers are exactly at your window. I had to change the room two times with most options being unacceptable. Hotel has no facilities other than the spa. The restaurant only opens for breakfast. That said, the rooms are very clean and location is amazing. Generally, a pleasant stay but value for money is very bad.

A wonderful hotel with an excellent location. Everything was perfect from the comfort to the overall experience. Highly recommended.

Perfect

Everything was fantastic, but the best part was the staff. Liam and Liandra at the FD, Cassindra at the concierge ( I hope I spelled their names correctly) restaurant staff, bell staff, all absolutely great. Our room was very nice, we enjoyed being very close to everything in Mayfair. Room service was also fabulous. I received a nice amenity for my bday with a card. The bartenders from the rooftop were also fantastic, attentive. Wonderful experience! We will return.

Beautifully furnished rooms and hotel, wonderfully attentive and friendly staff throughout, stunning and tranquil spa. Fantastic food at Akira Back and a lovely English breakfast. We will return.
