温泉マニアの私にとって奥鬼怒温泉郷は憧れの一つです。今回初めて訪れました。駐車場から徒歩で新緑を楽しみながらゆっくりと歩いて行きました。そこにあったのは一軒宿とは思えないモダンで立派な建物、周りには何もない、真の自然だけがある、リアルリゾートとよべる施設でした。お湯の良さはもちろん、食事も本当に堪能しました。
外国のゲストが半数近く。驚くと同時にみなさんわかってるな、本当の日本の姿を味わっていただけてるようで嬉しくなりました。
また伺います。次はトレッキング三昧で転泊スケジュールを考えています。

スタッフはほぼ外国人でしたが、日本人らしいおもてなしをしてくれます。不便な場所でたどり着くまでに時間はかかりますが、だからこその良さがありました。建物や内装は写真よりも綺麗でおしゃれな雰囲気でしたよ♪周りに散策できる山々があり、子供達も楽しんでいたのでまたうかがいたいです！

This spot was amazing all the way around. Like others have said given that it is a journey to get to, spend at least 2 nights. It was the perfect spot to slow down and relax. The food is amazing whether in the fancy dining room or in the cafe. The onsens overlooking nature and the waterfall were spectacular. Staff member April really made our stay great given her recommendations, explaining and teaching about local cuisines offered. The service is 5 star. I’d definitely return !!

அற்புதம் ホテルまでとても遠かったけど、来る価値は十分にあります。
外国人スタッフが多かったですが、接客はとてもよく、日本語もとても上手です。
温泉の泉質もとてもよく、露天風呂は最高でした。
子供達もとても喜んでいたのでまた来たいと思います。

அருமை とてもきれいで館内は暖かく過ごしやすかったです。
露天風呂に入りたかったのですが、少し戸惑いました。一つ、内湯の床がぬるぬるしてましたので滑りやすくなっていました。
食事は山の中の旅館らしい内容でした。ただ懐石料理の順番での提供でなくても良い気がします。

Everything about the property and my stay there was magical and beautiful. It’s very remote and hard to get to but very much worth it. The only drawback is not having much time to explore the town but if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city there’s not much better.

Extremely remote (nearly a 3 hour bus ride from Kinegawa Onsen Train station into the winding mountains) which was both an adventure and unnerving. Made to feel like a foreigner with little help in understanding the cultural norms as a newcomer to the onsen experience.
The in-suite onsen option was incredible, providing both privacy and ability to enjoy the experience as a newcomer free of the "ritual" imposed but not well explained for use of the public hot pools.
Hatcho No Yu was ultimately a memory for a lifetime but came with a less than supportive interface with staff who treated us like we didnt belong.
