Escolhi a Suíte Executiva do Rio Design Hotel especificamente porque o anúncio informava que o quarto possuía banheira. Inclusive, havia opções de quartos mais baratos, mas optei por esta categoria justamente por esse diferencial. Ao chegar ao hotel, constatei que a banheira não estava funcionando. Ao entrar em contato com a recepção, fui informado de que houve um vazamento e que todas as banheiras do hotel estão desativadas. Perguntei sobre a possibilidade de troca de quarto, mas fui informado de que nenhuma acomodação possui atualmente a banheira em funcionamento. Minha decepção não é apenas pelo inconveniente, mas pelo fato de esse serviço continuar sendo anunciado e influenciar a escolha e o valor pago pela hospedagem, mesmo sem estar disponível. Se eu tivesse sido informado dessa situação antes da reserva ou do check-in, poderia ter optado por outra categoria ou até mesmo por outro hotel. A equipe foi cordial no atendimento, porém considero que a indisponibilidade de um dos principais diferenciais da acomodação deveria ser comunicada previamente aos hóspedes. Fica registrada minha insatisfação e a expectativa de que o hotel reveja essa questão para evitar que outros clientes passem pela mesma situação.

Affordable

The hotel’s location is great, steps to Copacabana Beach and a short was to Pedra do Arpoador and Ipanema Beach. But the hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. Everything was dingy and the ancient bathroom tiles showed evidence of repairs. The safe didn’t work and wasn’t attached to the wall or shelf. The breakfast buffet was good and front desk staff were responsive and helpful.

The property maintained a clean and organised environment, enhancing overall guest comfort. The breakfast offered in the morning was not only delicious but also featured a diverse selection, catering to various tastes. Additionally, the staff provided warm, friendly customer service, enhancing the guest experience. The property is conveniently located near key attractions and amenities, making it an ideal choice for visitors.

The breakfast was consistent with fresh tropical fruit and a good mix of continental and local elements. Highly recommended. The location was spectacular given the prices one street closer to the beach. Readily available dining options were all around and it was close to random shopping options.

The hotel is located at a super good location, very near to the beach and walking distance restaurants. However, the receptionist was a bit rude and gave us a room we did not asked for and did not wanted to change us. The next morning I talked to the other recepcionist and they confirmed that they had made a mistake with my reservation but the hotel was fully booked and we couldnt move.
