A great experience with Cheeky Kiwi! It was a long 12h day with the 4h drive to and fro Queenstown, but our guide Bob filled it with interesting commentary, ample rest stops and most importantly, made sure everyone was safe (the road conditions in July is dangerous). Our tour had 10 of us, with a mix of people who booked the Ultimate Alpine package and those who booked just the Mt Cook tour. We were really worried because the weather forecast was poor and all flights were cancelled for the past few days, but the sun came through and the skies cleared right before our time slot (phew!) The views were breathtaking! We took the ski plane up to the Tasman Glacier (roughly 30min from boarding to landing), landed on thick, pristine snow (our legs sunk in to the shin, so wear boots!), then made our way across the snow to the helicopter which we took back to the airport. Afterwards, we only had about 30mins to do the Hooker Valley track due to time constraints, which was a pity but in no way the fault of our guide. Overall, this experience may be a bit pricey but definitely worth it especially if you’re not driving/not confident in driving in winter.

Great day with cheekykiwi. Guide was friendly, fun and helpful. Was blessed with gorgeous weather and the helicopter and ski plane rides were awesome. Must do at least once in a lifetime.

dissapointed that our flight got cancelled due to windy weather,however it’s still amazing tour overall. Kimberly the tour guide from cheekykiwi is friendly and good driver. we wish there are more time on the stops along the way though.

Booked a small group tour to Mount Cook on Klook, and it was amazing! Shane, our guide, made the experience truly special. His knowledge and friendly demeanor added so much to the journey. Despite encountering road closures on our return to Queenstown due to extreme weather, Shane adeptly navigated multiple detours, ensuring the safety of all passengers. His handling of the situation showcased a high level of professionalism and commitment to ensuring a secure journey for everyone. Highly recommend this tour with Shane for a memorable trip to Mount Cook!

현지 여행사 가이드분이 엄청 친절하세요. 중간중간 화장실하고 카페, 식당 등 들려주시고 뚜벅이 여행으로 와서 연어는 못먹을 줄 알았는데 비록 푸카키 호수 근처 연어 가게는 아니긴했지만 다른 호수 옆 연어 가게 들려서 맛있게 먹었습니다. 해당 상세 페이지에 잘 안나와있어서 몰랐는데 50분 비행이었구요. 타는 곳 도착해서 타기까지 1시간 30분은 대기했었던 것 같아요. 갈때는 경비행기 타고 가고 중간에 랜딩해서 다른 헬리콥터 손님들하고 바꿔서 올때는 헬기타고 왔습니다. 재밌는 경험이었어요. 헬기로 들어오는 햇빛이 강렬해서 자외선 차단제 두껍게 발라가시고, 설산의 눈이 반사되는게 강해서 선글라스는 필수로 가져가셔야 합니다. 저는 50분 중 40분은 비행하고 10분 정도 랜딩하는 줄 알았는데 15분 타고가서 20분 렌딩하고 15분타고 돌아왔어요. 사실 랜딩은 크게 흥미롭진않아서 개인적으로 다음에 또 타게 된다면 랜딩은 빼고 30분 코스 정도만 돌아도 가격도 괜찮고 더 나을거 같다는 생각도 들었습니다. 영어 못하는 한국인이라 가이드분 영어를 못알아듣는게 좀 슬펐어요.

Amazing trip! Water and refreshment were provided during the tour. The view is breathtaking. The tour guide Jonathan had done wonderful job.
