I had a wonderful time at the Royal Selangor factory. The timing was perfect — not too long and not too short. The Pewter Casting "Hard Knocks" and Foundry workshops were so much fun. Both instructors were friendly and patient. It was a great experience and I learned new skills. We highly recommend friends and family to visit!

அற்புதமான அனுபவம்! நானும் என் நண்பரும் மலேசியர்கள். எங்கள் மூதாதையர்கள் தகரச் சுரங்கத் தொழிலாளர்களாக மலேசியாவுக்கு எப்படி வந்தார்கள் என்பதைப் பற்றி அறிந்து வளர்ந்தவர்கள். இந்த வார்ப்புப் பட்டறை மிகவும் ஈடுபாட்டுடனும் பயனுள்ளதாகவும் இருந்தது. நாங்கள் செய்த இரண்டு சாவிக் கொத்துகளையும் வீட்டிற்கு எடுத்துச் சென்றோம்!! இந்த இடமும் இந்தப் பட்டறையும் மிகவும் குறைத்து மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதை நண்பர்களுக்கும் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் நான் மிகவும் பரிந்துரைக்கிறேன். அமர்வு முழுவதும் எங்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டிய பெஞ்சமின் என்ற ஊழியர் மிகவும் உதவியாகவும் பொறுமையாகவும் இருந்தார்.

It was such a great fun! We totally enjoyed it! From the guided tour to both the hard knock and foundry workshop and the lunch was tasty. All the staff, the guide, the workshop instructor, staff in the cafe and the staff in the souvenir shop were mostly friendly. Specially thanks to Hafiz, our workshop instructor who has been very patient and knowledgeable! Just wish to share with those who was confused with the shuttle arrangements. I picked the time for our visit and requested for the pick up service. The shuttle schedule that was found in the voucher after purchased seems to be not valid anymore/the list of pick up location could be useful though. Understand from the Royal Selangor staff that the driver will call us 1 day before to confirm about the shuttle arrangement but I didn't receive any call so I gave them a call in the morning before our visit and they managed to arrange the shuttle for us. Overall, it was a great experience and glad that I managed to book the package at a lower price through Klook.

The Foundry Workshop at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre was an amazing hands-on experience! It started with an insightful factory tour showcasing the history and craftsmanship of pewter-making. The workshop itself was fun and challenging, allowing us to create our own pewter piece under expert guidance. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the overall experience was both educational and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and creative activity!

Overall experience was great and vey unique! I joined the package with: 1. tour guide introducing different sections of the visitor center and the history of Royce Selangor - The tour guide was very nice and the tour was informative. 2. Hard knock workshop - really fun workshop to join, the tutor was so friendly. after the workshop I got my own product and a certificate with my name on it. 3. ⁠foundry workshop - a unique workshop that I could make my own accessories. The tutor was patient and helpful. Also, I could bring home my finished work. 4. ⁠lunch at Royal Selangor - the package I joined including a lunch. I tried Curry Mee and it was tasty. There were more choices of food to choose from. Also, a free drink was included. It is worth to join this package!!Love it.

A wonderful hands-on experience. Great tourguide, amazing coaching. My sister and I had a fun time molding the pewter. We were allowed to bring back home 3 of our creations! Brought back home an owl pendant, a bracelett and a snowman keychain! Adorable masterpieces of mine hehe

Interesting hands-on activity to do in KL. Only regret is not having allocated sufficient time to explore the facility & retail shop.

we didn’t know that there was a complimentary tour before the foundry workshop so that was a plus for us. it was fun learning about the history of royal selangor. I didn’t know that Malaysia is still one of the main exporter and all the pieces are handmade! As for the foundry workshop, the instructor was really friendly and clear. We were given ample time to make our pewters. Highly recommend that you sign up for this workshop! 😇

fun workshop. not suitable for small kids. make your own accessories using the mould which is really easy or do your own free form piece. staff was really helpful to give us detailed demo and help along the way. There is also a free self guided tour of the place.
