We had such a great time with Ray. We learned about Japanese calligraphy and how to write in hiragana and kanji. recommended!! instructor: very nice and patient equipment: traditional and high quality

One of the key experiences in Japan. Here we were able to learn kanji’s history and how to write them. Ray is the best instructor and teach us a lot and in funny way. Highly recommended!

I so enjoyed this workshop!! The tutur was so nice and patient. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I would remember this workshop for life🙌🙏

Ray was a great instructor! We had a great time practicing the basics/fundamentals of calligraphy and then he even wrote out our names (if they weren’t done before already). Awesome experience fr

were honored to be the first reviewer here on klook platform hehe! but brian was very nice and interactive with us all throughout the lesson! we really enjoed and goodluck to you bud!

What a wonderful, authentic Japanese experience. Ray was extremely knowledgeable and a great teacher. He was patient and took us through the art of calligraphy step by step. I really loved the process of making the ink from the soot and then being able to take home our pieces, even if they were a little amateur. The environment was relaxed and comfortable and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this wonderful experience, particularly for the price. Thank you for a wonderful morning Ray.

Very unique and fun experience, the guide is very nice and patient.

Great and unique experience in Kyoto. The instructor is very helpful and knowledgeable. The location is a bit hard to find. You have to go to the parking lot and there is a black house.
