This hotel was close to Tower of London and city cruise boats. Easy walking. Hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast is cheap as kids eat free.

Premier Inn Aldgate is a really great location, near Brick Lane with its vintage shops and restaurants, to Spitalfields market, and more. The hotel is clean but not sterile, and very quiet.
I booked on short notice and got a room with an accessible bathroom, but I can't really rate that of course.
I tried the breakfast one morning when I got up early enough and they have both hot and cold items...you pay just 2 euros more for the hot stuff, like fried eggs, beans, sausages and the like.

Not sure how this place had such good reviews. It was such an uncomfortable stay that we opted to switch hotels to Hyatt Place down the street (much better!).

Great location (short walk to Aldgate East station), good amenities (e.g. electric kettle), but two issues I will highlight-
- After clean up, they replaced two towels with one, and that means for the 2nd towel I had to go all the way down to reception to collect it. This happened twice. For a double room, why can't you just give two towels?
- In the last day, they didn't refill the coffee sachet. I went all the way down to reception, and they also failed to provide the same, saying out of stock
