The Hyatt DeNang has all the hallmarks of a classic resort experience. For those that want a luxurious ambience, with a hint of resident culture, this is for you. Learning the ropes takes a day or two, eg. happy hour changes depending on the bar, it's possible to get 2 for 1 cocktails between the hours of 4 - 8pm if you plan it out. Ice cream bars are also placed at strategic locations to keep the youngsters happy too. For families this is a very well thought out resort design. Prices are what you would expect to pay in Australia, the assumption that this will be a cheap holiday will disappoint. Also disappointing was the linen. I am a bit of a connoisseur of hotel sheets, with the expectation of crisp cotton, and a choice of firm or soft pillows. Neither was delivered here, so despite the firm mattress, I've had better sleeps in a 3 star hotel. This resort best suits young families.

Really great hotel with great facilities. We had an issue at check in but this was dealt with excellently by the duty manager, Aliks. The restaurants, pools and rooms are great and the beach is nice.

Great position, right on the beach & not too far from the City. The beach was clean of rubbish and lovely for a run or walk! The Hotel was very well appointed with a variety of restaurant options and activities. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was nice. It is between da nang and Hoi An. You will need to drive to either cities as it sits like a large resort on its own. Checkin was an hour as they over booked our room and was trying to figure out where to put us. I think this was isolated. I had message them early on to help me celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday with a cake and they agreed via Expedia message. We were in conversation all the way up to checkin and they ghosted me. Never answered again. Never brought the cake. This is terrible service.

The room was gorgeous and ocean view was breathtaking. Everything is clean and organized. I have minor recommendion that the room needs to install more electrical outlets especially, near the bed. Lisa Nguyen who was my check-in receptionist had done a tremendous job and diligently working hard to ensure that she can help me with several options on my requests. She manages to help me out. I haven't seen such a patience and willingness to-help receptionist in my life in order to accommodate my request. This lady, Lisa, deserves top 5 out 5 Star and get a promotion. I hope her boss is able to read my feedback here.

Overall we were pretty disappointed with our stay here and won’t be coming back. The aircon in our room was broken and we were moved to a different room on the 2nd day. The new room had an aircon that only achieved at best 24 degrees despite being left on for the remainder of our stay at 18 degrees (3 nights). Our room wasn’t made up one day having to call to have this rectified. At check out we vocalised our discontent which was met with a poor response and no willingness to achieve a more satisfactory outcome. The resort itself is beautiful with fantastic views and incredible pools. The location is poor so if you don’t plan on going anywhere it is a great fit otherwise you will be required to take cars everywhere as there is nothing within walking distance.
