The Virginian Lodge, an Outbound Hotel

Our room was clean and had everything we needed for one night.

A beautiful motel, super clean, amazing coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar in lobby. The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms were cleaned pristinely everyday! Billy’s is an amazing spot for food especially the salads and buffalo sandwich. Be sure to try the breakfast burrito at the liquor store in the morning. Also, make sure to try everything huckleberry flavored, the bar at the motel had an amazing huckleberry spritz. One of the best stays we have ever experienced! We will be looking to stay at there other properties in the future.

Very disappointing stay. My room was on the first floor, and there was constant noise from people walking upstairs from the time I checked in until around 2 a.m. It seemed like guests were continuously checking in or moving around on the second floor, but the noise was extremely loud. Since my room was right next to the parking area, I was also woken up by people talking outside and the sound of car engines starting from around 5 or 6 a.m. I only got about two hours of sleep the entire night. What made it even worse was that when I checked out, I reported the issue to the front desk. One of the female staff members told me she would submit a request for a $100 refund through the booking platform. However, when I later contacted the platform, they told me the hotel said there was no record of my complaint or refund request, and I had to follow up myself. This was the most expensive hotel of my Yellowstone trip, but unfortunately it was also the worst experience. Very disappointed！！

My only area of feedback would be around noise, walls and ceiling are thin where you could hear other travels at all times. Otherwise, great experience!

The Virginian Lodge was very nice!! It has a modern rustic vibe. The rooms are fairly big with a large barn door that separates the bathroom from the rest of the room. The bed was very comfy. During our stay, we enjoyed drinks and live music in the open firepit area. We did not eat at the restaurant due to their hours but heard it has excellent food! The Virginian Lodge is also in a great location. We enjoyed our stay very much!

It was very loud at night as I faced the courtyard. Rooms were cute. I liked the property!

Area around the door and the hallway to our room was not clean. Huge resort fee then charged extra to use pool table. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel is very nice. The furnishings in the room are a little dated. I had two issues with this room. The first one is it had a door to access an adjoing room. There is no sound barrier between the two rooms. The occupants in the adjoining room talked very loudly until midnight with no concern for others in adjoining rooms. I would suggest when booking at the Virginian Lodge to request a room without adjoing doors if you can help it. Also the air conditioner/heater had an issue with making a noise every time it reached temperature and shut down...loud screatching noise. I did relay these issues to the manager upon checkout. The Virginian Restaurant was excellent and is located on the property.
