We enjoyed our stay at Cocoon in Salzburg. The room is exceptionally clean with a great location near the train station and restaurants. Staff is helpful, breakfast varied and tasty. Very quiet area for being n the city.

Room was generally clean and lovely but a bit small. Suitable only for 1-2 ppl. Location was perfect - right next to the main station and easy access to the entire city.

Nice place, good vibe. Internal parking was full so had to park a few streets away. Not a big problem - easy walk. No in room coffee.

It was one of the best stays, the rooms are designed to looked a bit unusual, yet well thought out. Property was very well maintained and the staff was super kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, every single day. It is in close proximity to the train and bus station. I do support the eco friendly initiatives of this hotel however, this is where the only slight negative comes in. The rooms were hot in the night since there was no AC (25-26 degree weather), but the staff quickly resolved this for us by providing a cooling fan, which did the job. There were no in room facilities (snacks/kettle/coffee machine/iron), they did have all day “fruit basket” for guests but I guess some complimentary chocolates/nuts/biscuits wouldn’t damage their sustainability goal. All in all, a great stay, would come back again.

The staff was wonderful and accommodated every request.

The staff was very friendly and our room comfortably fit the whole family. With its extremely close proximity to Salzburg HBF (less than a minute) made it easy for us to explore all of Salzburg! Would highly recommend!

The room was clean, great water pressure, breakfast was really good, staff is kind and friendly. Luggage storage available. Nice bar

This is a hotel that wants to be a night club. The check in lady was no where to be found and there was confusion about how to check in, until she came. They eventually got us checked in. The place was loud with music and the liquor was flowing unhindered. The drunks outside our 1st floor windows were loud and annoying. The windows helped make it more quiet, but then the room got warm. We had a thermostat in the room, but I am not for sure if that was for emotional support, because it did not support us in making the room cooler. It did make us think that something was running though.... Not for sure what was running. The front staff acted like I was bothering them. I am in mid 40's and celebrating my 25th anniversary with my wife... I was not needing much from them at all, but when I asked they got irritated with me. We were not in our room much because of sight seeing, but the very nice room was way too warm when we got back at night. I had to fall asleep sweating both nights that I was there... With no blanket or sheets on me. I did not eat the breakfast. If you want a quiet hotel, friendly staff to help you, or Air conditioning that works, then go somewhere else. I felt like I was around a lot of clubbers and party animals while at the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel, unless you are wanting a club or bar.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the best thing was the location right next to a mall and train station while in walking distance from the main old town. It was beautiful experience

We stayed 2 nights in June and loved many things about this hotel. First, it was very close to the train station, which made coming and going with luggage very easy. They included a local bus pass, which was so nice, but we ended up walking to all the locations in Salzburg since they weren't that far from the hotel. The rooms are small but adequate, and the beds are comfortable. The shower is like being in a rainforest with such a large shower head. There is also a hand-held wand that is very convenient, and we always had plenty of hot water. We purchased the breakfast and were very glad we did. It was so convenient and delicious. There was a good variety, very fresh and of high quality. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We were able to keep our luggage in their on-site lockers since we had a tour booked for the last day and would be back after check-out. We enjoyed our time at the Cocoon and would stay there again.
