Pros: The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient.
Cons: Nobody, in any review, mentioned that the Reception Desk is only open from 9am to 3pm. After that, you are on your own, with no one around. The manager gave us his card with an emergency phone number. As mentioned by numerous people in other reviews , the neighborhood is very sketchy, with drug addicts, homeless and prostitutes abounding. No one bothered us, but I really did not feel safe returning to the hotel, and entering the building with my room key, knowing there was no staff nearby. It felt more like a rooming house than a hotel. All the other hotels in the area seemed to have manned Reception Desks in the evening.

1. Unfortunately this property is in the homeless assistance area, there'are a shelter and a dining homeless assistance places and you see them all on the streets and they are always asking for money.
2. The staff working schedule is limited, if you have any incidents, there's no one to assist you
3. They don't change towels even if you leave them on the floor. You have to be present during the staff working hours to request it.
I recommend this place just be aware about what I mentioned, however, I won't return to this place

The room was clean, the staff was nice, but the insonorisation is very bad. I could hear people screaming , car honking, accelerating, motocycles, police sirens you name it. Very hard to go to sleep with all that commotion from outside.

There are a few points to consider. First, the hotel's location is in a rough area where you'd see homeless people around. The hotel also needs some maintenance; the toilet seat was broken, and the unit wasn't clean - there were stains on the furniture. On the bright side, the breakfast was great 😊.

The staff was amazing. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants close by and options for taking metro or walking to the Acropolis. The location was good, just a 5 minute walk to the Omonia metro and a 15-20 minute walk to Monastiraki and Plaka neighborhoods. We walked to the Acropolis and its museum one day and to the National Archaeological Museum the next. The museums were not to be missed.
The only issue we had at the hotel was the WiFi in our room (405) was very weak and dropped off after 10-15 minutes. The signal was strong in the hallway, so we’d have to walk out to the hall frequently to get the signal back. The manager was apologetic about the WiFi and tried to get it fixed.
