Our stay at the Hotel Ascot Opera was wonderful. Our room was spacious enough for our family of four. It was very clean and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. The location was wonderful and within walking distance to many of our activities. The staff were all very helpful and the optional breakfast was worth the price. I would definitely stay with them again.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. We could walk to the Louvre in ~10 minutes. Building is older (as expected), our room was spacious. AC worked pretty well given it was pretty hot during part of our stay (~30c) and we were on the top floor. If you are prioritizing location and clean stay, but do not mind having a room that is not 'freshly remodeled' this is a great option.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location, only 10 min walk from the Louvre and river. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was small but had everything we needed for a successful stay. Would highly recommend!

Amazing location and even better staff! Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind, especially the gentleman working the night shift. The A/C in the room was amazing, the water pressure was perfect, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room itself is quite small, but that was exactly what I expected, so it wasn’t an issue for me. It also wasn’t spotlessly clean, but it was clean enough for my stay since I mostly used the room to sleep. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in a fantastic location with wonderful staff.

Stayed on the sixth floor… in a triple room Air-conditioning did not work… and the ceiling was so low we had to hunch over to walk around. Elevator only fits two people at a time.

We just did a 2 night stay there during the Paris heat wave. We loved all aspects of this hotel. It was clean, good AC, good water temp and pressure, quiet, easy to navigate through, and really helpful staff. the four of us fit really well in the room. I'd stay again for sure!

Room was very small, which I expected but did expect it to be as small as it was. Two people could not move around comfortably. Room was not very clean, things stuck on the walls, dirt in corners. Major problem was things breaking, the major light switch had to be held together by a wooden spoon. The faucet for the only sink broke. Then on night we came back late and (it’s so disgusting) water from another person’s shower upstairs started leaking heavily into our shower through what looked like an exhaust vent above the shower/tub. All of this and what was offered was only a free breakfast. The only thing that got me through was the nighttime staff. A gentleman who told us where to go and made us laugh. Overall the experience was pretty terrible. Would not recommend.

The AC didn’t work. Horrible smell of earth and dampness in the room.

Very tiny rooms, but great location. Staff was not overly friendly, but did not expect them to be in France.

Air conditioned. That's the most important part! What a hidden gem in the city. Pretty close walking distance to Louvre and a quick walk to the subway otherwise. Great setting, great price.
