Comparing to Toyoko Inn and APA
Breakfast at Toyoko is slightly better but this hotel breakfast is not bad
Love the public bath

A nice hotel located about a 5mins walk away from the train station. The rooms are comfortable enough, although some things in the room didn't really make sense, like having an induction stove in the room but there is no induction stove cooking ware. I would also like to have two hotel key card instead of just the one they gave me during check in.

While the hotel is a little old and the wallpaper is ripped in areas, the staff are very friendly and kind and the breakfast was very delicous. The onsen bath was cold on two nights and when we shared this with staff, they reset things quickly, allowing us to return in an hour to piping hot spring baths. The hotel doesn't have all the bells and whistles newer hotels have but the nice staff at reception and at the restaurant make up for it!

In short, this place is a dump. The first red flag upon entering is the stained couches. Then you get up to your room and notice all the walls with laminate peeling off. Then entering your room you see hair in the bathroom, carpet that hasn’t been dry cleaned since the 70’s and scuff marks on everything. The walls are thin and you can hear everything, including cars from outside.
