Great location and very easy to get to the train station! The twin room is perfect for two people, but the extra rollaway bed wasn't very comfortable.

The location of Playsis East Tokyo is fantastic, offering easy walking access to landmarks like Senso-ji Temple and the Tokyo Skytree, as well as convenient transit connections via the Toei Asakusa Line. The shared rooftop terrace also provides an incredible, unobstructed night view of the Skytree.
However, the physical space is quite cramped. Both the rooms and the elevators are tiny, which makes it a very tight squeeze if you are traveling with a family, heavy luggage, or a stroller. Additionally, the service at checkout left a lot to be desired. We were expecting the front desk staff to assist us with booking a taxi, but they did not help. We ended up having to scramble to download Japanese taxi apps on our phones and figure out how to link our international credit cards on the fly to get a ride. A decent spot for a solo traveler packing light, but challenging for a family.

We had a reservation for the Kirby Cafe, so we wanted to stay at an affordable place for one night close to the Tokyo Skytree to make said reservation. We were a group of 4 and although the room was a little small, it was perfect. 2 twin beds and two couches were comfortable and perfect for us. The restroom was super clean and the amenities provided were so good. We used the small fridge and kettle. And I was so impressed with their hair dryer I went and bought one as soon as I was back home. The location was close enough to walk to convenience stores and restaurants; which made our 3AM jet lag walk to a 7/11 extra convenient. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We used their luggage storage and we were comfortable enough to even leave our backpacks. We were traveling with 2 teenagers, and they did not complain once about the stay. I would totally recommend this hotel without any reservations, and if I ever return to Japan I would definitely book another stay here.
PS: you have to go to their rooftop lounge and see the Tokyo Skytree at night. The view is amazing!

We stayed for one night and it was very noisy. The two sofa beds were terrible and unusable; they shouldn't be offered as an option for sleeping.

Great location. Rooms are tired (not as flash as the photos) but at least, for Tokyo, quite big and functional. Some staff really friendly, others totally ignored us! A lovely little evening cafe/bar (Gossip) close by and you are near the Asahi HQ and their top floor bar which is worth a visit for the view and all through the older Asakusa district.

The staffs are very helpful; small hotel but very clean, cozy and close to subway and bus stations. Solamachi mall is few minutes walk. Luggage transfer office is just 2 minutes away.

Location is 10 mins walk to Asakusa or Honzo-Azumabashi station. The Neighborhood is its main attraction, quiet and with quaint izakayas. The closest combini is 5 mins away. The property is really clean, but they don't clean the room daily, however you can exchange towels daily and take out trash daily, just put outside room by 10 am.

The rooms are so close together that you can easily hear noise from the next room. The room smells musty and is quite noisy at night, with the sound of cars driving by and footsteps upstairs.
