Room was clean and staff friendly. TV only had 2 channels that worked and when you flush the toilet the bedroom walls shook as if something was going to errupt from within. Breakfast was a disapointment and not worth. It was meant to serve until 10:30 but at 9am it was like locusts had attacked. Whilst hot food did eventually get restocked the pastries etc didnt.

Hotel was good, room great size. Could be great if they cleaned room everyday, stayed a week and room only done every other day. Yet if I booked daily I get a clean room 🤔. Carter and Fitch ok staff not helpful and food was ok but again could have been great

Premier room was tatty… curtains had hole in them, some off hooks, bed throw had mark on it. Despite asking for the room to be serviced and leaving the sign on the door - it wasn’t - I was told they missed it because I was at the end of the corridor!

Clean room Lumpy bed Clean towels Good shower No time for breakfast following a poor nights sleep from the lumpy bed and other residents shouting and arguing at around 11pm Good hotel other than that.

Huge room with very comfortable beds, immaculately clean. Pool and gym clean and functional. Very friendly staff in reception and the restaurant Great stay.

Arrived for an anniversary stay with my partner and child.. upon arrival advised by local members we wouldn't want to take baby into the pool as it was like the north sea, the members have been complaining for weeks it hadnt been heated. The sauna and steam room were broken and the pool freezing. Considering it is a spa retreat destination this was shocking. We were told an engineer had been called but the members and attendees were out spoken saying they pay monthly membership and it has been broken for weeks .. Other couples arroved at the same time for spa breaks with the spa having no functioning sauna steam room or pool

We did not have time to use the hot tub unfortunately and we did not look for shops nearby but we had no need anyway.
