This property and the staff are completely amazing! We enjoyed every aspect of the hotel, the food, the room, and the city.

This is wonderful property, they have beautiful gardens, surrounding their pool area and the food is very good.

The staff was incredible. We had an issue with some noise and it was immediately solved with an added bonus. Victor and the rest of the team made sure we had a relaxing, beautiful time visiting!

Rosewood San Miguel de Allende is absolutely stunning and one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed at. The architecture, grounds, and attention to detail are flawless — every corner of the hotel feels like a postcard, and the service is truly top-tier. The rooms are elegant, quiet, and incredibly well maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels both luxurious and very authentic to San Miguel. The rooftop views, pools, and common areas are all next level — honestly, I would rate the property itself 20 stars if that were possible. The staff is attentive, professional, and makes the entire stay feel seamless from check-in to check-out. That being said, I would strongly recommend not eating at the hotel for meals other than convenience. The food is noticeably underwhelming compared to what you can get just outside the property in San Miguel. The city has incredible restaurants and local cuisine, and the hotel’s dining simply doesn’t match that standard. It’s fine in a pinch, but it does not reflect the same level of excellence as everything else on the property. Overall, this is a must-stay hotel for the experience, the beauty, and the service — just plan to eat most of your meals in town where the food scene is far superior.

The room was spacious and clean and had a very nice balcony as well as a very nice bath tub. The staff were extremely helpful. The Spa was well equipped and serviced was fantastic. Cold towels, cucumber slices and exfoliation cream was provided for use in the steam room and sauna. Breakfast was well prepared and the fruit cup was very nice.

Disappointing stay due to room condition I had high expectations for Rosewood San Miguel de Allende given its reputation, but unfortunately our room experience was very disappointing. The air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning and had a very foul smell, as if something old and damp had been left sitting in the system. The odor was extremely unpleasant and happened both nights of our stay. It was strong enough that I had to personally spray the room with air freshener each night just to make it bearable. For a property of this caliber and price point, room maintenance and basic comfort should be impeccable. The smell significantly affected our stay and was not what I expected from a luxury hotel. I hope management addresses this issue promptly.
