Great breakfast with coffee machine available all day. We were in Lucerne when the temps were in the 90s, so with no air-conditioning it was a bit tough, but the staff did provide us with two fans for our rooms, which was very kind and much appreciated

Great location and breakfast! They open the dining area all day so the guests can mingle and have meals and relax in the dining area. Coffee and fruit are available all day.

Stayed here during the heatwave of June 2026. Miserable temperatures in the hotel and a single fan provided. The room was sparsely appointed but clean and the bathroom large but the shower was small. Having a light breakfast provided was a nice touch. Hotel is located very close to the train station and Chapel bridge. If they had a way to regulate temperature in the rooms it could have been 5 stars but given the room temperature stayed in the high 80s day and night I just can’t.

Close to luzurn railway station. Lots of eateries close by. The hotel has a room open for tea/coffee, water. You can eat take away as cutlery and plates supplied. Only downside was no air-conditioning, just a fan in the room, it was hot so sleeping was almost impossible, not the fault of the hotel though. Other than that, a great little hotel with helpful staff.

It was a great stay and wonderful breakfast. Sleeping was difficult with a heat. Perhaps its time to invest in air conditioning.

Hotel Central Luzern was well located close to the train station, shops as well as the lake and also a self guided tour! Breakfast was great too, a great spot to stay in Lucerne!
