Me and my son came to visit Panama City and needed something for one night. This La Quinta did its job by providing basic amenities and services like breakfast, pool/spa, and room service. Room was clean and ice cold! Front desk people are extremely nice and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located about 12 minutes from half hitch miller pier, where you can park and go on the beach if you’d like.

We stayed on the third floor for 5 days. 2 adults and 1 teen. This property really needs some maintenance attention and could use some fresh paint. The elevator was broken a couple of times and we were unable to use it, our floor had multiple doors that would not lock for guest, so they left doors ajar, hot tub was out of order during the entire stay, the guest clothes dryer did not work properly, no batteries in the smoke detectors in our room and overheard a guest asking about it as well, remote did not work on the tv. Our shower was not draining because the shower the water pooled away from the drain. The office chair was also not great to use as it kept sliding down. Positives were the breakfast and the cleaning staff were very friendly, breakfast area was clean and decent food. We would not stay here again. Definitely nicer stays on the beach.

Clean room, staff was both courteous and friendly, but did not follow through on request to replace or repair tv remote as, and replace missing sitting chair, breakfast was adequate.

The whole hotel needs good maintenance , special in the walls and doors, Hoy La Quinta has a hotel like this?

Nice

Clean room. Restaurants close by and beach was about a 10 min drive. Breakfast was decent. Gym was not great, didn’t have any weights, and pretty humid in there, but has other cardio equipment like a treadmill. Pool was nice. AC was great! Staff was nice. Parking got a little full, but only during the weekend. Would book again.
