The Legend Palace looks exactly like you would expect a hotel in casino-focused Macau to look, featuring wildly over-the-top 'Louis XVI' architecture and interiors. The hotel may not be the first choice for gamblers, as it's on the peninsula rather than out in the Cotai casino 'strip', but I found it good value, with large, clean rooms, good amenities (you will be alone in the gym, and probably the pool) and excellent service (the concierge, Ivan, was especially helpful during my stay). The hotel is near the Outer Harbour ferry terminal and part of the white elephant 'Fisherman's Wharf' retail complex, but the old town is within walking distance (if you don't mind walking!). The Legend Palace is not a historic property like the pousadas, it's not a famous-brand five-star hotel, and it doesn't have an in-house casino, but it represents excellent value, I thought. I'd be happy to stay again.

Clean, great staff, good pool. Only issue is lack of self service laundry.

Amazing

Breakfast buffet was amazing! Clean and properly maintained on the inside. The exterior needs an update/refresh, nevertheless the interior was well kept and staff are accommodating and respectful.

The rooms are very nice. The decor is very traditional, but the auto lights and curtains make it feel modern. Plush linens and bedding and nice shower products are provided. The humidity is evident in the halls, but the room humidifiers get the job done. Every member of the staff was warm and welcoming. Most of the staff speak a bit of English, which was very helpful when trying to communicate with each other.

The room I stayed in was spacious and luxuriously appointed, having everything I could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The whole hotel was peaceful and quiet and the bed was comfortable, with additional touches such as different pillow options available via the front desk. Staff were efficient and friendly in everything that they did and my whole stay ran incredibly smoothly. Many thanks.

The hotel is very beautiful, the location is great, right next to the fisherman’s wharf, room is large and clean and has everything we need. Breakfast is great, the staff is super friendly.
