Super friendly staff. And was surprised to walk in to a birthday surprise from the hotel which was such a nice and thoughtful touch. Spacious room and great location in CBD. If you use their parking bear in mind that is very tight, so if you have a large car just be mindful.

The room (city view) was a great size for a couple with a nice big shower. The toilet was a little cramped against the toilet paper holder for a tall man but not a biggie. The buffet breakfast was delightful! We got really lucky and had Executive Chef Rajesh on breakfast shift and he made the best omlette we have ever tasted! Topped with parmesan cheese! The front counter staff were super friendly.

This is a well kept hotel and our room was perfect! The views were beautiful! The staff were very friendly and accommodating when I requested an extra comforter for the room. They have a wonderful buffet breakfast which we enjoyed every morning. We totally enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Oakes Hotel!
