I liked the location and the patio. One young girl was very nice when we left our luggages until we left the town for the train station. But the bathroom was really really small and would benefit from small repairs. The access for the family rooms is by stairs, which is a pain with large luggages.

Despite being in a very good location I would not recommend this hotel. A bit basic & needs a face lift. Breakfast was good.

We had the family room and was very spacious for us. Room was clean and the staff very friendly. Location was great too.
We’d recommend staying here if in Avignon for a few nights like we were.
Only improvement we would suggest is a small fridge in the room for drinks but appreciate it wasn’t advertised in the booking but feel it would make a difference.

We had two rooms for a two night stay. The air conditioning in one room (46) was excellent, however the air conditioning in the second room (47) was minimal or not functioning. The front desk had a look and unlocked more controls on the thermostat but that didn’t make a difference. No other rooms available. The staff were friendly and tried their best with what they had. Something new to us at breakfast was the basket of eggs. I discovered after the fact that you have to cook them yourself. However the bath of boiling water in which you would normally do this was broken. Thinking it was already pre-cooked, I cracked it open at the table and… well… sorry about the mess!

Loved our time at Central Hotel! Great location, the place could just use a little spiffing up. It gave us everything we needed and loved the location! Would definitely recommend a room with a view.

First time in Avignon and this hotel was superb. The staff welcomed us after a horrible train ride from Paris and explained everything we needed to settle in. The room is spacious and clean and the street view is lively. Location is central to everything - hence the name. Always felt safe and the hotel restaurant has great service as well. Would stay here every visit to Avignon.

While my room was small, it overlooked the courtyard and was perfect for one guest.
Staff was helpful and welcoming.
Location in center of town was excellent, with the tourist office less than a block away.

The bed and pillows were great. The rug that was in hall and room were old and stained. There was a smell that was being covered up with air freshener- which was another bad smell.
