Late check-in was welcomed by great customer service and having two bicycles in tow was no problem despite the space conscious property. All well looked after.

The front desk was very helpful despite my poor mandarin. Breakfast was a good balance of east and west. Tip: there is an underpass from the railway station. Do not follow google map route.

The good: - The staff were extremely friendly. They treated me to Dou Hua when I was there, and the pretty staff walked me to the rooms even though she was injured and limping. Relatively cheap. - The breakfast was a gourmet sandwich, not a buffet. which is actually fine because I can go out after that and try a 2nd breakfast to sample more local food. The Bad: Rooms were small, really need to put away your stuffs or you will be kicking them as you step into the bathroom (takes about 2 steps from the bed). Ask for rooms on the upper level so you don't hear the toilet flushing.

Our room was clean and nice however it was a little small and the shower would not drain therefor the whole bathroom flooded. Very convenient for the overland train.
