Our reservation was for three rooms for two nights. It was disappointing that our three rooms were spread throughout the hotel (there did not seem to be a place to request rooms near each other when making the reservation). But the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a mixup with rooms when checking in but with some effort we got that all worked out. One room had some plumbing issues with the tub/ shower. With some pressure, the hotel did provide an alternative room. It was a very busy weekend- appeared to have several groups, possible weddings so staff was doing their best! The hotel is showing age- time to replace some furniture.

The amenities were fantastic and the staff were accommodating. The DJ at the pool was fun and made the experience excellent. Ashley Cruz at guest services was amazing and made the stay fabulous. I would recommend staying at this location not only for the above mentioned but for ADA accommodations and the location across the street from Newport Bay!

Location, location location. That’s so great about this hotel. It’s a bit long in the tooth in terms of decor, and they charge a lot for parking but overall it’s a good place to stay.

The ground are very nice. The staff is very nice too. There are building that look old on the outside which is my only detractor. The interior was very nice though. Poolside food and service was very good

We stayed here for a Father's Day getaway and a jazz concert. The grounds and amenities were amazing. The room was good but considering the fee for the room and this hotel listed as 4 star, we were disappointed with what appeared to be some slightly molding caulking around the bath tub. We had dinner reservations at Shor Restaurant before attending the concert. This was a bad experience. It was a long wait just to get any acknowledgement. My husband had to flag down a gentleman to ask for water & notify him that we hadn't been attended to. Within a few minutes a floor manager came to hear our complaint, take our drink order & mentioned that "everyone else" were also attending the concert and waiting on their order, that the kitchen staff was behind" just the kind of comment that made us feel that it didn't really matter. This experience didn't match up with reviews that I had read about.

This is a great place to bring kids and enjoy several different pools as well as enjoy some morning coffee at their bar. I personally was not a fan of their restaurant, but I'm sure lots of people do enjoy it. The staff truly was hit or miss as far as friendliness which was different from my first experience (and why I returned the second time). Overall, everything was fine and I would definitely return!
