I don’t know if the air conditioning unit was dirty or moldy but I did not want to figure out so I did not turn it on. Other that that room was clean people super friendly and helpful.

Nicely renovated motel in gritty part of downtown Merced. Room, staff, breakfast were quite nice. Close to highway and gas station but not walkable to downtown shopping/theaters or anything.
Stayed during 4th of July weekend and there were illegal fireworks going off in neighborhood for at least two nights-motel did offer free earplugs.

Toppen Clean room, comfortable bed, no fridge, no coffee pot, no microwave, city and highway noise but there was a hair dryer and ironing board

The only problem e we had with our room was the door didn’t fully close. It took awhile for the ac to actually cool off the room too. Other than that, everything was good.

The room was clean and warm when we arrived from our engagement, Everything worked in our room, plenty of on-site parking, staff was very helpful and breakfast was good
