We chose this hotel because of its location. We didn't have the staff clean our room during our 4 night say. When we needed extra towels or anything else, the staff was very helpful. The valet guys weren't always friendly.

No water in the room , old mattress and pillows, no sugar or half half at there coffee shop, they get a lot of business from Disneyland across the street so they don't care about there customers, for the same cost Marriott is the best for the same price

Nice easy room

The bathrooms were cleaned every day .but very disappointing that beds were not done even when sheets were not changed every day I think they should at least beds should been done. Other than that please was good

It was okay. Honestly you are paying for just the location if you want to be close to Disney. It is a decent hotel. For the price we paid. We didn't even get toilet papers restocked appropiately, we had to go ask for it. We shouldn't have to. Room service we did not even get new sheets in neither of the 2 rooms we booked. Just towels. And it's honestly left me wishing for more for the price we paid but I am aware it is just bc of the close distanxe to Disney but I was expecting a little bit more. It was nice to have a microwave and mini fridge. But the cleaning and restocking could need a little more improvement.

Across the street from Disneyland. Rooms were nice, staff was nice, and overall easy experience.

Close to Disneyland.

Nice place to stay. Room cleaned daily. Courteous staff. Be aware though there are additional fees if you want to check in earlier than 4pm. Plenty of places nearby to eat. Short 5 minute walk to the parks. We will definitely stay there again.

The location to Disneyland main gate couldn't be better. This location is basically right out front. Because of that, you end up paying for just about every service. Parking is an additional service, so if you arrive early, you pay extra, both to park and to check in. This also goes for the day you check out, so if you are going to the park on the day you check out, you have to pay extra to leave your car parked while you are at the park, on the day your check out. The hotel doesn't provide cleaning service every day, but they are suppose to change your towels and take out your trash every day. They did not do this for us, and we had to ask for it on the 3rd day after they missed it on the second day. Also, the door stuck so that it was very difficult to unlock and open, to the point where we couldn't open it with one hand, and a few times had to call someone to help us open it, which was very inconvenient.

The property location could not be any better. In fact, my friend from Belgium (a big Disney fan) was in for the World Cup and she originally had been wanting to stay at the Disneyland Hotel but I had the worst experience there and paid far too much for terrible service and said I would pick the hotel. I had stayed at the sister property of "Camelot Inn & Suites" before but had heard about the Tropicana from a blogger. When we were walking thru Downtown Disney one night and she remarked how far the Disneyland Hotel was from the gates of Disneyland and California Adventure and how much closer we were. The Tropicana is literally the closest hotel to the gates. Good for days when we averaged over 27,000 steps. The room was clean and my friend (who is terrified of bed bugs) did her check and even she said she was impressed. Is the hotel brand new? No. Has it been remodeled? Yes. Is it clean? Yes. Water pressure is good and water was hot enough for me to ease my bones after all that walking. The team at the guest service desk were friendly and welcoming. They also conveniently stored our luggage so we could drop it and get into Disney right away and then check out and store it again so that we could spend every last moment in the parks. Thank you for everything! We would for sure come back and stay again next time.
